PROGRAM (highlights)

Day 1Welcome to the hotel in Sirolo. Welcome lunch and presentation by Stefania about Marche. In the afternoon you can explore Sirolo or go to the beach. Evening dinner with regional dishes and matching wines in a traditional restaurant. Enjoy for example pasta alle vongole and fritto misto dell’Adriatico.

Day 2: After breakfast departure to Offida for a wine tasting accompanied by the winemaker and Hans. Lunch with typical dishes of the country side, such as vincisgrassi or gnocchi al sugo di papera followed by porchetta or leg of lamb. After lunch we leave for Ascoli Piceno. After a hotel check-in a walk accompanied by Stefania with stop at caffè Meletti for an aperitif with olive all’ascolana. The evening is at leisure.

Day 3: After breakfast presentation by Hans about Verdicchio wine. Then depart for Matelica for a wine tasting. Lunch with regional dishes and matching wines in Matelica. In the afternoon wine tasting. Hotel check-in in Fabriano. The evening is at leisure.

Day 4: In the morning presentation of Stefania about the region. Then departure for the Frassasi caves which are explored under supervision. On the way to Acqualagna a lunch stop. Hans and Stefania give a presentation about truffles. Hotel check-in in Acqualagna. The afternoon is at leisure. Evening dinner in acqualagna.

Day 5: After breakfast departure to Urbino and hotel check-in. During the day, guided tours of the historical buildings. Among others palazzo Ducale and Rafaello’s house. A light lunch around noon. The evening is at leisure.

Day 6: Departure to Senigallia and hotel check-in. You can enjoy the beach and the sea. Bike rental is possible. The whole day at leisure.

Day 7: Day at leisure. A wine tasting can be organized on request. Evening dinner in traditional fish restaurant in the harbor.
